Yesterday, my dad was thinking about copyrighting my worlds and characters so that nobody can steal it. I did tell him that I will consider the idea and brought up that I've been posting art on social media for years, like he said there are art thefts out there who can steal my ideas, OCs, and such. I have been using social media as long as he knows about it for 7 years, but I do understand where my dad is coming from about that and he just wants to make sure I know what I'm doing.
After the conversation, I did some thinking about the conversation and came to a decision that will be a huge change for me in reality and what I do on social media.
By the end of this month, I won't be posting as much of my worlds and OC's like I used to. It's very disappointing to all of you and please do understand that I want my stories and OCs to be protected so that nobody can steal them for their selfish greeds and NFT related. I will be deleting art and stories related to my concepts and OCs on this site, Quotev, and more which will be heart breaking to all of you. During the process of getting my worlds copyrighted. I'll give myself plenty of time to plan the stories and characters out for my worlds so they can be better than before.
I'm not sure how long it will take for me to fully share my stories again in public after I get them copyrighted, but I'll let you guys know when that happens ;)
I'll still keep posting art, fanfics, and such when it comes to fandoms and fan characters. When it comes to fan characters, I won't be planning on doing as much with them for my worlds since they're created for fun and based on the existing fandoms I'm into. If you guys have known me for a longer time, you may know that most OCs of mine started off as fan characters before they were fitted into my worlds. My current fan characters won't be going anywhere or copyrighted anytime soon even if I may not be into that particular fandom anymore.
I would like to thank everybody who has followed me and been friends with me for all of these years. Supporting me whenever I post stuff related to my worlds and characters which made me happy that I could reach out to a particular audience. I do admit that the majority of my art, stories and characters started off as cringe and cliche back in 2015, however, it was the start of something big that will benefit my life today. I did create a lot of good memories with all of you and been a good inspiration for close online friends of mine and including you.
After reading this journal, I hope all of you respect my decision and continue to support me in my journey.
